Based in Leamington Spa, Drawn2 is a lighting design and specification company which specialises in residential and commercial projects across the UK.
Founded by Jonathan Cardall, our network harnesses over 35 years of lighting design experience, tailoring bespoke, well-balanced lighting solutions for projects of various scales. We work directly with clients or through architects, developers, interior and landscape designers, M&E consultants, electricians and audio-visual consultants.
We believe that a successful lighting scheme is key to unlocking the full potential of a building or space. Whatever the project, our design schemes achieve a balance of creativity, functionality and discreteness, adding a richness and texture that can stimulate a sense of wellbeing. Carefully considered lighting that works harmoniously with both architecture and interior design, can not only evoke positive emotions, but elevate a building or space to its full potential.

Jonathan Cardall BSc(Hons)
With a 20-year career in lighting design, Jonathan has creativity, enthusiasm and practical thinking at his core. In addition to his wealth of skills and experience, Jonathan’s professionalism and genuine passion for design have helped him to forge strong working relationships with clients and colleagues which regularly result in customer referrals.
Jonathan has worked on a number of notable projects, both nationally and internationally, including Blenheim Palace's Retail space, and a private luxury residence in Bermuda.
Combining a personable approach and extensive product and technical knowledge of the ever-advancing lighting industry, Jonathan can provide clients with sound advice, reliable customer service and design which pushes boundaries while preserving integrity.
LIGHTING DESIGN
What we do...
We can offer a flexible range of lighting design services, for single area solutions to full project lighting designs both inside & out. Depending on your project, we can produce circuit-by-circuit lighting plans, light fitting schedules and technical schematics.
We can also define, design and specify intelligent lighting control systems, working with some of the market leaders; Lutron, Philips Dynalite & Rako. ‘Setting the scene’ with these control systems can add atmosphere, superior dimming, convenience but also security. They are particularly worth considering for open-plan living spaces to avoid excessive amounts of switches, and can be tailored to whole or part house applications.
How we do it...
We work closely with our clients to get a full understanding of the overall vision and key objectives, before drawing upon our experience to help develop the brief.
Working within an agreed scope of works, Drawn2 will create a tailored fee proposal which, depending on your project, incorporate site visits, client meetings and product demonstrations. During the design journey we will also develop a detailed specification that provides the best value for general and decorative lighting. This concludes with a comprehensive lighting design, signed off and ready for site use.
When it comes to installation, clients may wish to consider our site support service during first and second fix phases. With sound industry knowledge, Drawn2 is a creative force with practical knowhow, and it is this technical experience that has proven invaluable for the electricians we work with.
